Easy Breezy Linen Pants

Dear Diary,

Have you ever struggled with deciding what to wear on a hot September day?  Well, you're not alone if you also struggle putting together a cute outfit that you won't sweat through.  When I'm building a summer scorcher outfit, I will always choose linen as a base.  A tip when building your summer wardrobe is to stock up on breezy linen pants and blouses.  Whites, blacks, and creams are the perfect timeless linen shades and can be easily dressed up or down with the right accessories (cough, CB bag, cough).  Sweating never felt so beautiful and chic!

My outfit today is a blend of timeless and trendy pieces for the end of Summer 2023.  As the base of my outfit, I have paired a timeless oatmeal colored linen pant with a crisp baby blue blouse.  To give a more relaxed vibe, I buttoned only the middle two buttons to peekaboo a black vintage lace bra.

In light of staying current and on trend, I have layered dainty gold jewels with a vintage strand of pearls (go raid your grandmother's jewelry box, trust me), chunky yellow gold hoops, and decorated my wrist with a chunky chainlink vintage bangle.

As a move away from Summer into the early days of Fall, I have tied my look together with graphic pops of black in my footwear and accessories.  Black rubber Havaianas, rectangular Ray Bans, and of COURSE, my Cara Benevenia Mini Icon in Black Matte.
